Terms of Service

1) Service provider and contact

2) Service scope

RatePilot offers a freelance pricing calculator and a premium subscription toolkit. The service is informational and operational and does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice.

3) Eligibility

By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you submit.

4) Pro access

Pro access is managed via Polar checkout and a magic link sent to the checkout email. The link is personal and must not be shared, transferred, or resold.

5) Pricing, renewal, and cancellation

Subscription renews monthly until cancellation. Price, taxes, and billing cadence are shown before payment. You can cancel from the Polar Customer Portal; access remains available until the end of the paid period.

6) Refunds

First payment: refund on request within 14 days as a goodwill policy (one-time per account, excluding abuse or fraud). Renewals are non-refundable once charged, except where required by law, in case of duplicate charges, or technical billing errors.

Product structure, templates, branding, and premium materials remain property of the provider/licensors. We grant a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for your internal professional use.

9) Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may perform maintenance and product updates for security, compliance, or operational reasons.

10) Professional disclaimer

Pricing outputs and scripts are decision-support material only. No specific business outcome is guaranteed, and all pricing choices remain your responsibility.

11) Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, RatePilot is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits. Aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid by the user in the 12 months before the relevant event.

12) Payment disputes

Before filing a chargeback, contact [email protected] for a direct resolution. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may lead to account suspension.

13) Governing law

Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, these terms are governed by Italian law, with jurisdiction determined under applicable regulation.

14) Updates to terms

We may update these terms for legal, tax, security, or operational reasons. The latest version is always published on this page with an updated date.
